The sage as usual was plucking flowers chanting slokas and he sensed that some one was following him. He turned back and saw the Lord standing on the banks of the river. The sage was over joyed and asked the lord the purpose of his following him. The Lord told the sage that he followed him to see and enjoy his daily routine. Also the god told the sage "I came here for your pooja with lotus flowers. Henceforth my name will be Aravindha-Lochanan.You should do pooja to me also along with Devapiran. Further whoever does pooja to me with lotus flowers I will grant them their wishes immediately."
